The CFPM is no longer employed by the facility. ***COS The person in charge registered a new employee during the inspection. - 2-102.12: (A) The PERSON IN CHARGE shall be a certified FOOD protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an ACCREDITED PROGRAM. (B) This section does not apply to certain types of FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS deemed by the REGULATORY AUTHORITY to pose minimal risk of causing, or contributing to, foodborne illness based on the nature of the operation and extent of FOOD preparation. - V (Correct By: May 31, 2024) |

Many of the cans in the facility were damaged. 13 were dented on a seam and taken off of the shelves. These cannot be served to the children. PIC stated that they have issues with the cans falling and becoming damaged. ***COS Removed 13 dented cans from the shelves. Educated person in charge in evaluating dented cans. Discussed finding a new storage system to avoid damaging cans. - 3-202.15: FOOD packages shall be in good condition and protect the integrity of the contents so that the FOOD is not exposed to ADULTERATION or potential contaminants. - V,COS |
Inspection Comments |
No food preparation was taking place during the inspection, but cleaning and sanitizing was in process. Ground beef that had been prepared that day was found in the refrigerator. Because the facility is a category 2, they are not allowed to cool and reheat food. The PIC stated it was for the teachers. This food cannot be kept in the kitchen. |
